Smart Campus

Through the most advanced AIoT Internet of Things technology, we create a smart campus environment, including smart lighting, IAQ air monitoring and fully automatic temperature and humidity control, smart security, smart classrooms and smart management systems to improve the overall operational efficiency and safety of the school.

ESG

As an important institution for nurturing the next generation, the school shoulders the mission of promoting students' attention to climate change and sustainable development. Through curriculum education, practical activities and community participation, the school is committed to making students understand the importance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environment, Society and Governance (ESG) for the future. This not only helps to cultivate students' sense of responsibility, but also encourages them to become active participants in promoting global sustainable development.

Using school equipment, the campus becomes smart in seconds

In campus management, the school applies the intelligent Internet of Things (AIoT) technology to achieve improvements in many aspects. For example, the smart energy management system is used to monitor energy conservation and optimize electricity consumption, thereby effectively reducing carbon footprint; intelligent air quality (IAQ) sensors and monitoring equipment are used to continuously improve indoor air quality and provide teachers and students with a healthy and comfortable learning environment;

Without the need to replace existing equipment, the AIoT smart Internet of Things automation technology is used to enhance the campus experience. The system will monitor the indoor temperature and humidity, air quality and number of users in real time to adjust the lighting, air conditioning, fresh air or exhaust system power, making the indoor environment more comfortable, achieving energy-saving effects, and reducing unnecessary energy loss. , making campus operations more efficient, safe and convenient.

Such initiatives not only demonstrate the school’s commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, but also inspire students to understand how technology and environmental protection complement each other, laying a solid foundation for future sustainable development.

Smart Toilet

Schools can use artificial intelligence - Internet of Things (AIoT) devices to improve the safety of public areas, save resources and reduce maintenance costs:

Radar/ToF human presence sensing:

  • Tracking the usage of each individual toilet allows administrators to instantly know which toilet needs cleaning or maintenance, and start or shut down the air conditioning and lighting systems according to actual needs, reducing energy waste and saving resources at the same time.

  • Monitor whether students fall or faint in the campus or toilet, and quickly notify relevant personnel for assistance. This technology only detects the movement or stillness of objects through data detection, completely avoiding the transmission of images or sounds, and maximizing privacy protection.

Water Leakage Sensor:

  • Real-time detection of toilet or pipe leaks, quick notification of administrators for repairs, and prevention of small problems from turning into major accidents.

IAQ Sensor:

  • Monitors toilet air quality and automatically adjusts interactive exhaust fans based on the data to improve air circulation.

  • Real-time monitoring of abnormal air conditions in a specific space, such as toxic gas leakage, burning of debris or smoking, which may cause a surge in suspended particles or formaldehyde content in the air, and notify the administrator for further investigation.

  • Scene Automation: For example, during school meetings or special events, the system can automatically set appropriate lighting and temperature.

AIoT Central Management Platform:

  • Integrating the data of the above equipment into a central management platform will enable the school to more effectively monitor the status of facilities, formulate maintenance plans and improve maintenance efficiency.

The application of these IoT technologies not only improves campus security and reduces the time and cost required for maintenance, but also demonstrates the advantages of technology in protecting privacy and environmental protection.

Schools can apply RFID (radio frequency identification) technology combined with Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to innovate inventory and asset management models. By automatically capturing data through reading devices and uploading it to the IoT management platform, efficiency can be greatly improved and manpower and time costs can be effectively reduced:

  • Library management: RFID technology can speed up the book borrowing and returning process, automatically record operations, reduce manual intervention, and update inventory status in real time.

  • Laboratory and teaching equipment management: Monitor the location and condition of high-value equipment to prevent loss or damage, and automatically generate maintenance and repair reminders.

  • On-campus asset inventory: Using handheld or fixed RFID scanning equipment, you can quickly complete a large-scale asset inventory and avoid errors caused by traditional manual recording.

  • Intelligent warehousing system: real-time monitoring of consumables and spare parts, providing automatic replenishment reminders to ensure the continuity of material supply.

These applications not only improve management efficiency, but also reduce the burden on campus administrators. They further optimize resource allocation strategies, allowing more resources to be invested in teaching and student support, so that schools can truly achieve the goal of a smart campus.

With the development of information technology, schools also need to upgrade diversified teaching tools and digital equipment, flexibly combine effective teaching strategies and methods to meet the purpose of diversified teaching and achieve twice the result with half the effort. In recent years, the Education Bureau has vigorously promoted e-teaching, and many schools have also configured interactive whiteboards (iWB), but there are still many limitations in their use, such as size limitations, insufficient writing area, and screens affecting eye health.

Smartboard is an innovative smart educational tool that uses digital methods to reinterpret the traditional black/whiteboard writing mode. It is perfectly matched with electronic whiteboards or projectors to expand the writing space. It is not limited to the specified size. The writing content can also be displayed synchronously in the software and converted into PDF or image files for easy storage and sharing. It can also be equipped with a movable stand so that the Smartboard can be easily moved up, down, left, and right with one hand, making it more convenient to use.

Tips: Integrate Smartboard with the existing smart electronic whiteboard in the classroom, without changing the original writing method, to achieve full electronification of classroom writing functions!
